SHIBA Field Operations Supervisor at the Office of the Insurance Commissioner

Judith Bendersky is the SHIBA Field Operations Supervisor at the Office of the Insurance Commissioner. Her background includes a Masters in Public Health from Loma Linda University and certification as a gerontologist from the University of Washington, as well as the AIRS Credential as a specialist in Aging and Disabilities. Bendersky currently supervises five regional training consultants who support the learning and counseling needs of 20 sponsors made up of approximately 450 volunteers. She has helped people navigate Medicare for three years in Washington and for 10 years in Alaska.
