Program Coordinator for the Diverse Elders Coalition
As a first-generation son of two immigrant parents, Ocean Lee has experienced the linguistic and cultural challenges along with the discrimination that many diverse older adults face today. With a M.S. in Human Nutrition from Columbia University Medical Center – Institute of Human Nutrition, he hopes to combine his knowledge and experiences to incite change in our diverse aging communities. In this role, he facilitates the coalition’s family caregiving work, as well as supporting the coalition’s communications and media outreach. He is a former intern with The John A. Hartford Foundation and a graduate of Columbia University.
